The perfect night out for tourists who want to know more about Jasper and want to have fun. The Legion has a beautiful patio so come early to enjoy a drink or a snack.

'The adventures of Eddie the Elk'

It is only February you think… summer 2023 is still far, far ahead. Still so much time right? No, that is so not true. Aaahh! Before we know all the tour buses are coming back to Jasper National Park, the tourists are wandering around Patricia Street and Maligne Lake can show her beauty to all the humans again. So we are already prepping for the summer big time!
So a month ago we had the idea to have a theater show for the younger ones visiting Jasper as well, because they deserve that right? But about what or who? Ah easy! About Eddie of course, the famous elk who complains about everything what happens in his life but still will steal your heart in the show: ‘From Jasper with love’. He deserves his own show. So the title for this one was there in a second: ‘The adventures of Eddie the Elk’. But now the big question, what kind of adventure should Eddie have? Maybe he went to a big birthday party and everything went totally wrong and he ended up in the cake? Or he had to save to town of Jasper from a dangerous new animal who wanted to destroy everything? Oh no wait… maybe he went on a big and long hike and in the end he found a big mysterious box with the text: ‘Don’t open this, because otherwise…’?
When I’m walking to the grocery store or with our dog Travis in the winter sun of Jasper, all kind of adventures are going through my mind, from beautiful love stories to strange mysteries. Soon I have to sit down and pick one. I always hate that part. Making up funny and amazing stories is the best. But I will pick one and we will make it amazing. And hopefully we will see you at Jasper Theater Productions this summer at ‘The adventures of Eddie the Elk’ or ‘From Jasper with love’. And if not, I am sure we can wave to each other on the streets in beautiful Jasper National Park.
